The ASI device sockets consist of a polyamide housing with integrated slave electronics and a connector pattern according to DIN EN175301-803 Form A. These sockets connect binary devices with the appropriate connector lugs, e.g. valves, to the AS-Interface. In addition, feedback signals can be recorded in the variants with an M12 socket in the cover. With the M12 bus connector, installation times are short and the electrical connection is simple. The advantages of AS-Interface device sockets: Robust and quick installation using a round cable stub according to the AS-Interface specification. LED status displays facilitate commissioning and troubleshooting. Bus power supply: Transmission of signals and supply energy on a common line. External power supply: Transmission of signals and supply energy on separate lines (e.g. emergency stop or devices with high power consumption).
